hey goddesses! I hope 2021 is being kind to you so far 🤍 2020 was a crazy ride, and I know must of us are glad to see the back of her. I’ve been seeing a lot of posts on social media about how 2020 was a year for hibernation, reflection and cocooning and 2021 is all about blossoming and spreading our wings. I love that idea!

even though it’s still an overwhelming time for everyone, don’t write 2021 off just yet. In today’s blog, I’ll be sharing all my tips on how to harness your goddess energy and claim back your power this year! we seriously deserve it 💗

  1. lean into the law of attraction

goddesses claim all their manifestations! 2020 gave us a chance to reflect on where we are now in our lives and where we want to be. Get writing down all your goals and aspirations for this year. Be super specific in what you want and set timeframes, with a clear action plan of how you’re gonna achieve your goals. You could use a specific planner such as this law of attraction one. Make yourself a cute vision board too! Live every moment as if you have everything you want. To learn more about the law of attraction, check out this blog.

2. Prioritise your self care

goddesses know how important self care is. Everyone’s idea of self care is different, but it has to be whatever make you feel happy, relaxed and nourished. For some people, that’s having an at home spa night, with face masks, glasses of wine and a big bubble bath. For others, it could be curling up in a big armchair with a hot chocolate and a book. Whatever your idea of self care, set aside time each day to do some of it! Perhaps take a goddess bath with Epsom salts and flower petals. There’s loads of self care ideas in this article.

3. Consume goddess content

goddesses are inspired by other goddesses. Consume as much positive, uplifting and nurturing content as possible from books, podcasts, music and videos. Curate your social media feeds to reflect your goddess nature. I love reading poetry, and Rupi Kaur’s ‘home body’ is a beautiful reflection of what it means to be a woman. You can also get inspired by goddesses from previous times in books such as ‘Great Goddesses’ by Nikita Gill.

4. Break up with drama

goddesses don’t do drama. Same with gossip, negativity and bad blood. You are too powerful to get involved in petty spats and to harbour negative feelings. Erase the energy vampires in your life. Focus on you! Drama can extend to your mind too. Divorce your inner critic who never has anything nice to say and replace it with positive affirmations only. Be your own hype girl! I LOVE these affirmation cards by Louise Hay.

5. Be the best version of you

goddesses nourish their bodies. Find workouts that suit you; that doesn’t mean running marathons! It could mean doing a slow Pilates routine each morning or a walk on your lunch break. Make some healthy choices with your diet; eat more fresh food, fruits, veg, all the good stuff. Take your vitamins! Being nourished from the inside is the secret to looking your best on the outside. If you don’t know where to start with vitamins and supplements, check out this post.

6. Step into your spirituality

goddesses are committed to their spiritual growth. Start that meditation challenge! We all have at least 10 minutes a day to connect with our minds so start prioritising it. Practice yoga each day, again, even if just for a few minutes. Learn about the moon and it’s cycles, astrology, philosophy. When you open yourself to the world, the world opens to you.
